Intertek Signs 70,509-Square-Foot Lease at Northern Stacks

Intertek will occupy more than half the total 120,600 square foot, newly completed Stacks VI

Hyde Development, M. A. Mortenson Company and Colliers International | Minneapolis-St. Paul welcome Intertek to Northern Stacks, the state-of-the-art industrial distribution and office/warehouse business park in Fridley. Intertek will be consolidating two Twin Cities metro offices, one in Oakdale and the other in St. Paul, to their new 70,509-square-foot home in Stacks VI and are slated to take up occupancy January 1st, 2019

Intertek is a leading global Total Quality Assurance provider of testing, inspecting and certifying products to industries worldwide. Intertek provides a systemic approach to Quality Assurance in each of the areas of industry operations including; R&D, raw materials sourcing, components suppliers, manufacturing, transportation, distribution and retail channels and consumer management.

With nearly 130 labs and offices and expertise in every stage of the project lifecycle from product related testing and certification capabilities, and project related assurance, testing, inspection, and consulting, Intertek offers the most comprehensive suite of services in the building and construction industry. The new facility in Fridley will provide a wide range of fenestration services to product manufacturers, contractors, architects, and other project leaders, including air, water, and structural testing in the lab and the field, mock-up capabilities, insulated and safety glass testing, and thermal testing and computer simulations.

To date, six buildings have been delivered at Northern Stacks and five are fully leased. Availability remains in Stacks V (62,591 SF) and Stacks VI (50,091 SF). Current tenants at Northern Stacks include; LKQ Corporation (Stacks VII) Axalta Coating Systems (Stacks V) Mygrant Glass, VStar Entertainment Group and Benchmark Logistics (Stacks IV) Dero and Everlast both PlayCore Companies and Resolution Medical (Stacks III) as well as, MB2 Raceway and Trio Supply Company (Stacks II) and Lindenmeyr Munroe, OnTrac International and Kaufman Container (Stacks I).

Northern Stacks is a joint venture of Hyde Development and M. A. Mortenson Company.
